The Playaz always arrive in style
This is a photo taken of the Guv'na and myself when we arrived at Playaz Ball this year. You can see we have just stepped out of our limosine and are heading up the walkway to Headquarters, flanked by the traditional military guard that stand at attention and salute the Playaz at each Playaz Ball.
In the past, the Playaz would arrive under the military "Arch of Sabres", but this year we mixed it up and had them simply present arms as we arrived.
Once we have all arrived, there is a 21-gun salute, followed by a cannon being fired atop Headquarters. Then Larry Holmes traditionally presents the colors and the national anthem is played.
It is quite a moving ceremony.
Once everything is complete and the red carpet is rolled up, that of course is when the Playaz cut loose.

As the great Robbie Nevil said, "c'est la vie". Although I
can see why it might be difficult to seriously consider the opinion of
a mustachioed man in a kangol.I think the Playaz consider all the ladies special.

Yeah...I've been watching the Phil whacking going on over
on DCB. It makes you long for the days when people actually had to
study things like logic.I
also love how these impassioned hurricane blog entries come right
behind (pun intended, Phil) an earlier entry on a man's ode to the
enlarged derriere...but seriously, folks. :/With so many female
readers, you're going to have to convene a special Playaz meeting to
see if women can be honorary Playazettes.
