Merry Christmas to the Gentlemen Playaz
Posted by: Washington Cube at December 25, 2005 11:04 AM
Back at you Cube.
Posted by: Bon at December 25, 2005 5:37 PM
Merry Christmas, Playaz.
Posted by: Guvna at December 26, 2005 5:10 PM
As an avowed atheist, I did not celebrate Christmas, but I hope it went well for the rest of you.
Posted by: Tac at December 26, 2005 6:41 PM
Merry Christmas, gents.
Posted by: A Unique Alias at December 26, 2005 8:31 PM
Tac, atheist does not mean one who does not believe in Santa Claus. Please consult your dictionary and don't confuse our readers.
Posted by: Wayne at December 26, 2005 11:24 PM
Merry effing xmas.
Posted by: rock creek rambler at December 27, 2005 2:18 AM
I know for a fact Tac believes in God. Tac says God speaks to him through his Trans Am, and tells him what adventures to get into next.
Thanks Unique & RCR - right back at ya.
Posted by: Phil at December 27, 2005 9:05 AM
Indeed, the Trans Am has always been regarded as a powerful oracle, even in ancient times. In fact, Tac and Moses are not so dissimilar after all...
"And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the hood of a Trans Am: and he looked, and, behold, the Trans Am burned with fire, and the Trans Am was not consumed."
- Exodus 3: 1-2
Merry Christmas, gentlemen!

Belated Merry Christmas, Playaz! Tell Bon I'm going to shoot several woodland creatures while I'm down here in hickville. Hunting season opened yesterday. Woohoo!
Posted by: Saidah at December 27, 2005 10:59 AM
I can't believe I didn't start reading you until now. Happy Holidays, gentlemen!

Welcome aboard, AW!
Posted by: Phil at December 27, 2005 12:35 PM
It's not Larry Holmes, but Leon Spinks has been spotted in Nebraska...seriously...
Posted by: Adam at December 27, 2005 1:27 PM
Don't be so modest, Adam! Leon Spinks is an outstanding sighting.
The Playaz are down with Leon.
Posted by: Phil at December 27, 2005 1:31 PM
It was a wonderful Christmas morning when I picked up the paper here in Omaha and saw a story on the front page.
Posted by: Adam at December 27, 2005 1:41 PM
Now that is the spirit Saidah! Nothing brings joy to the holidays like the discharging of large caliber guns. I plan on taking off from work Thursday and Friday just to do the same thing.
Posted by: Bon at December 27, 2005 2:52 PM
So, Phil.
You too know the sorrow of a spouse who does not appreciate your unique literary talents?
Woe unto us.
Posted by: Jinxy at December 27, 2005 3:37 PM
I'm afraid all the Playaz have felt the scorn of our women when it comes to the artistic stylings of Playaz Ball.
As I mentioned to you on Kathryn's site, we know we are on the right track, however, when we are met with disgust and/or embarrassment from our better halves.
They just don't understand true genius.
Posted by: Phil at December 27, 2005 3:41 PM
I thought the holidays were over, then lo and behold my Playaz card arrived in the mail. Although it was hard to decipher (in true playa fashion) - I was able to make out some great graphics and jokes just for the AsianMistress.
Feel the love fellas.

The Playaz never stop giving. Sorry about the crappy photo quality. I ran out of picture stock to print on.
Posted by: Bon at December 27, 2005 5:11 PM
Keep your eyes open for a bonus gift, AM.
Posted by: Phil at December 27, 2005 6:10 PM
merry belated xmas and happy new year!
hmmm bonus gift. will this be like a mystery grab bag? if mine contained kenny roger's friend chicken, a kangol, scorpion medallion, and 3 kilos of coke i could die a happy woman.
Posted by: VP of Dior at December 28, 2005 1:59 PM
Same to you, VP.
No nothing like that. Without giving away what it is, I am hoping that it will work for everyone. I tested one unsuccessfully, but hey, it didn't cost you nothin' right?
Anyway, I would like feedback once you have received this gift.
Posted by: Phil at December 28, 2005 2:08 PM
sweet. can't wait to see it.
Posted by: VP of Dior at December 28, 2005 3:09 PM
I received the gift tonight!
I will not spoil for the others, but...
OH
MY
GOD.
Actually I thought it was going to be the video of the DC bloggers - players in effigy.
And btw I also wonder what my roommate thinks of the past two packages I have received from "The Playaz."
She is probably jealous.
Posted by: AsianMistress at December 28, 2005 7:57 PM
Fellas, I got my gift today, and GLORIOUS it was, indeed. (And Yoda, I am, apparently.) I have to admit, though, I was hoping for some live video - I wanted to hear the Playazeses' Georgia drawl in all its glory!
Posted by: Rhinestone Cowgirl at December 28, 2005 7:58 PM
Glad you enjoyed it, and glad it worked for you.
RC, your wish may come sooner than you think (possibly). I have an invite to appear on the Letter To America podcast - however, I can't seem to get it together this week, as I don't live up to the technology standards of it's illustrious host, Mr. Jett Loe. Still working on it, though.

I too received a mysterious package yesterday and was a bit nervous. My roommate thought I should not open it and burn it to avoid the danger inside...little did she know....
It totally made my night and was unexpected!
The Playaz are the best. Hands down.

I was concerned that some of you may worry that we sent you an envelope of anthrax, but I did not want to spoil the suprise, either.
Glad you enjoyed it, SB.
Posted by: Phil at December 29, 2005 12:01 PM
Anthrax was not quite the white powder I was considering...
