Phil's vacation journal: Final Entry

I am refreshed! A full belly did the trick. Although I am a bit sluggish as I ate too much (or too many! ha ha!)

I can see what appears to be runway lights in the distance....could it be?

My wife and I run across a man and woman wearing some sort of wooden slats on their feet. They move quite deftly across the frozen terrain. I ask them what the lights are. They say it is the "Telluride Airport". We're saved!!

We kill the couple and steal their slats and attach them to our own feet, as this will move us along much quicker than on foot.

They also have a cellular-phone, which I use to contact the Playaz. I presumed that no electricity or phone connections would work in such inclement weather.

"Summon the Playa jet!" I shout. "Have it at the "Telluride Airport" post-haste!"

It looks like we are coming home...this is my final entry. Until I return

Phil

I am thanking the Playa upstairs for your safe return, Phil. Your tales sound horrifying, but at least you had offspring to sustain you in your time of need. Well played.

I, on the other hand, just returned from a harrowing journey into the lair of a giant mouse in the tropical scrub-brush land of Florida. I was nearly forced to consume my offspring several times, lest I be forced to once again dine on Goofy Burgers or Chicken Little fingers (with honey mustard!). There were lines of common folk lined up to jornney to places such as A Small World, where no doubt there souls would have been harvested by this Mouse's minions. A narrow escape indeed, only to return to your personal hell, forecasts of snow flurries and the potential of freezing rain in Atlanta. Oh, the humanity. I feel like suing someone.

It looks like you will be busy handling the separation of Lance and Sheryl Crow to worry about it.

At any rate, it is good that we are both back.

But didn't we handle the separation as soon as they got together?

And I cannot believe the DC'ers are not rejoicing in your return. They must have found new pet Southerners.

I thought you were merely retained for the time when they did get a divorce. Since you talked them out of marriage completely, perhaps I am mistaken.

I will look back at the Playaz' archives to better understand the arrangement we made with the Armstrong/Crow's.

We were all waiting at the airport, thinking that you would stop by to visit us on your way home. We waited there for three days.

I had to hurry home and visit my doctor to ensure that devouring large amounts of human flesh wouldn't cause any permanent damage to me physically. It's no different than eating animals, I'm told.
