Playaz announce they will put Joe Paterno to sleep at the end of the season
In a very sad announcement, the Playaz stated that Penn State football coach Joe Paterno would be taken to the vet and put to sleep, but not until "after the season is over".
This was a very difficult decision, and after consultation with the veterinarian, it was decided that it was time.
"We asked the doctor if there was anything we could do to avoid this. He said he could prescribe some steroids for Coach Pa to take that will keep him pain free for another few months, but that it was in everyone's best interests not to prolong his life," a tearful Wayne was quoted as saying.
It has been a difficult season for the elderly coach - battling flu and stomach ailments during one particular game, and recently injuring his leg when a player collided with him on the sideline.
"He's been laying around, all sad, since he hurt his leg. He can't get around very well anymore, and his vision has been bad for a long time," Wayne added.
The Playaz plan to have Paterno stuffed and delivered to Penn State after he is injected with barbiturate pentobarbitone and drifts painlessly into death.
Wayne offers the vet the use of his .357 magnum while Paterno is being examined; the vet indicated 'euthanasia' would be the more humane route to take in putting the coach out of his misery

So, Restaurant Gal Son applied to Penn State, was wait listed, and instead went to a fine university in the midwest, from which a first-class quarterback--who now plays in the NFL--entertained us all on parents' weekend with a huge win over another university. We didn't know then the talent we were witnessing.
I couldn't care less what happens to anyone or any team at Penn State!
Not that I hold a grudge or anything....
