Larry Holmes kicked me, and he punched me
Perhaps the greatest thing ever captured on video...if you are not aware of what is going on in this clip, around 1991 Larry Holmes was conducting a press conference that followed a 1st round TKO by Larry over opponent Tim "Doc" Anderson.
Larry was then asked if he would consider a rematch with the recently deceased Trevor Berbick. Holmes replied that since he had pummeled Berbick 10 years earlier, he did not see any reason to fight him, adding he "did not like him or respect him."
Unbeknownst to Larry, Berbick was outside in the hotel lobby, rambling on and on and bad-mouthing Holmes. Holmes confronted Berbick in the hotel and the two exchanged blows. After being separated, Berbick's rant continued out in the parking lot, and according to Larry, got personal. It was then that a track-suit wearing Holmes can be seen running along the roof of a car before diving feet first at Berbick, frightening women and children everywhere.
