Playaz mourn death of the great Charles Nelson Reilly
Our Memorial Day weekend got off to a rough start at the news of the death of beloved friend Charles Nelson Reilly.
A man who reached stardom through his many appearances on game shows, and his superb acting in TV show "Love, American Style" and movie classic "Cannonball Run II".
Please find an online guest book somewhere and sign your condolensces for this fine man. CNR, we will miss you.

The only thing that rivaled the pop culture influence of gameshows back in the 70's was the influence of Charles Nelsion Reilly on said gameshows. The man was a force to be reckoned with and could hijack an episode at will.

...and I also remember him for directing Julie Harris in The Belle of Amherst.

Hammer, you are right - no one could dominate a game show like he could.
Cube - who could forget that? He was also a genius on the Sid & Marty Krofft show "Lidsville".

I'm shocked! Absolutely shocked!
Word of his passing hasn't reached the mainstream media here in the U.K. Once again, I have the Playaz to thank for keeping me informed when so-called professional news can't or won't give us the facts.
