Playaz attend Bush wedding; got party started

The Playaz attended the wedding ceremony for the President's daughter Jenna Bush this past weekend, and it was reported a good time was had by all.

Bon performed the ceremony between Jenna and her husband-to-be Henry Hager.

"Will you.....state your name, have.......uh....state your name...... to be your wife and or husband? Will you promise to remain subservient to your husband, to wash his sheets and clean beaver pelts and prepare the beaver haunches for dinner whenever he desires, and endow all your worldly goods to the Playaz as long as you both shall live?" (if so, say: "I will")"

Shortly into the vows, Bon quickly became distracted by the various wildlife on the Crawford, Texas ranch and cut short the ceremony.

Guv'na DJ'ed the reception, and played a vast selection of songs that would appeal to all, including the classic wedding favorite "Strokin'" during the father-daughter dance.

Jenna and Hager will be honeymooning at Playaz Headquarters in the Isle of Palms, South Carolina.

I'm so happy Bon was the Emcee for the evening. He must be very proud to have had the honor!

Any chance we can get pics of you all getting down on the dance floor?

We haven't gotten any photos of the dance floor back, though I assume it would look something like this.

Not long after this photo of Phil, Wayne, and the First Family was taken, Phil could be seen grinding with the first lady to the rhythmic sounds of The Electric Slide. Wayne was subdued by the Secret Service for continually staring down Jenna's dress as seen above.

This blog is getting to the point where I feel like I'm gonna get an audited return and a flagged passport just by reading it...

I was thinking the same thing, Hammmer. What an advertisement, "Read The Playaz blog and have a NRO satellite passing over your house, beaming your computer back to the NSA" (which, fellas is NOT that far outside Washington.) I'm waiting for my door to be kicked in, just for laughing at those photos.

P.S. With Phil back in the Cpt. Kirk chair, can a blog war be far behind?

Posted by: Washington Cube at May 15, 2008 9:50 AM

For the sake of the blogosphere, Cube, I hope war is not on the horizon. But Hammer & I have always had an underlying current of contention for each other, ever since The Contest. We are sort of like Israel and Palestine. Despite our best efforts, we may never achieve peace.

"I don't know whether war is an interlude during peace, or peace an interlude during war."
- Georges Clemenceau

If George W. and I have two things in common, Cube, they are these:
1. An undying love for barbecue.
2. Refusal to take any options off the table.

Why is Laura Bush so screwy looking? I guess it's her eyes. I have to hand it to Jenna for having a hoe-down wedding. When Luci Baines Johnson got married in Washington, it was like the Queen was being coronated. Tricia Nixon was almost as bad. It's been a while since a President has had a three-ring circus wedding in town...and God knows there's no more Martha Mitchell with her frilly parasols braying like a donkey at the press.
